Cerebral Palsy is a group of disorders that affect movement and muscle tone or body posture. This condition is caused by damage to the immature and developing brain, and most often occurs before birth.

Signs and symptoms appear during infancy or preschool. In general, cerebral palsy causes movement disorders associated with excessive reflexes, flexibility or flexibility of limbs and body, unusual posture, involuntary movements, unsteady gait, or a combination of all of them.

SYMPTOMS OF CEREBRAL PALSY

The symptoms of cerebral palsy are usually not obvious after the baby is born. The symptoms will only appear when the baby is two to three years old.

• Bleeding in the baby’s brain or lack of blood or oxygen to the brain
• Bacterial infection that occurs to the mother while the baby is in the womb
• Babies drown at birth
• Meningitis (infection of the brain)
• Severe brain injury
